Flightless on the Way to the North (2023)
Jordan’s summer animation internship was created to give animation students that he had formerly worked with through The Client Project (below) at Villa Maria College an opportunity to hone in on their craft for an extended period of time. Over the course of 10 weeks, animation students Erin Hill and Joshua Quinones, both animators for The Hunting of Tulikettu, each logged 120 hours to bring Flightless on the Way to the North to life through lo-fi animations.

Created by Professor Joshua Muntain of Villa Maria College and Jordan Bianchi, The Client Project is a ten week endeavor where the students of Villa’s “Post-Production” animation class work with Jordan, who takes on the role of “The Client”, to develop animations based on his audio dramas.
Every year since its founding in 2021, The Client Project has given students the opportunity to partake on their first sizable animation challenge, learn first hand how to adapt a story, pitch and present creative ideas and see their vision come to life.
