About Jordan Bianchi:
Beyond his projects for Bianchi Creative, Jordan love to write – fantasy novels, short stories, screenplays, and children’s chapter books. Many of his short stories he has brought to Villa Maria College, where he lectures and mentors undergraduate animation students in the craft of adapting written works for screen and understanding the client-creative relationship.
What’s Jordan been up to?
In 2021 his short ghost story and audio drama The Specter of Ægir was used to develop a semester long project at Villa Maria college, where he worked with students to produce animations based on his production. Additionally it was published in Asylum Magazine and a graphic design of the piece was on display at the Crucible Art Colletive Gallery in Buffalo.
The Hunting of Tulikettu (2022), a retelling of the tale of the mythical Finnish fox of the northern lights, and The Lady of Ice (2023), a poem from The Midnight Hearth, were selected as follow up audio dramas to be animated by classes of students.
From 2019-2021 Jordan called the Fisher-Price Creative Studios home. He directed and edited domestic and international video content, such as ecommence videos, commercials and advertising materials for a majority of Fisher-Price products, including Linkimals, ImagiNext, Rescue Heroes, Little People and Wonder Makers. Additionally he created video content for Thomas & Friends, PowerWheels, Nickelodeon, Disney, Pixar, Dreamworks, Hello Kitty, Jurassic World, Batman, D.C., and The Fred Rogers Company.
In 2017 and 2018 Jordan’s feature film script Manifest, a paranormal drama, co-written with Malena Lloyd, was workshopped at The Newhouse School of Syracuse University, Brooklyn College’s Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema at Steiner Studios, and Stony Brook Manhattan’s Graduate film program.
While pursuing his degrees in Cinema and Screen Studies and Creative Writing at SUNY Oswego, Jordan created two narrative short films, As Ever, and Week Six. After graduating, he lived in Brooklyn, studied with Killer Films’ producers Christine Vachon and Pamela Koffler, freelanced on various commercial and narrative shoots in the area and became a creative consultant for Chaser the Border Collie.
