In Ep.10, screenwriter and novelist Professor Juliet Giglio joins her former student, Jordan Bianchi of Aurora Airwaves, to discuss her approach to writing, professional practices in the industry, and insights gained from mentoring students at SUNY Oswego for a decade. Juliet shares reflections from her current film and writing projects, the significance of the writer’s strike, and strategies for navigating the challenges of working on and publishing projects.
In collaboration with her writing partner and husband, Keith Giglio, Juliet’s film credits include: Disney's 'Tarzan,' ABC's 'Noah,' ABC Family's 'Pizza My Heart,' Disney Channel's 'Return to Halloweentown,' 'A Very Nutty Christmas,' 'Christmas Reservations,' 'Dear Christmas,' and Reba McEntire's 'Christmas in Tune.' Additionally, she has authored novels 'The Trouble with Tinsel' and 'The Summer of Christmas,' writing guide 'Proof of Concept: Writing the Short Script,' and contributed to 'Cut to the Chase: Writing Feature Films with the Pros at UCLA Extension.'
